We let properties from a six month AST (Assured Shorthold tenancy) basis and will strive to assist in finding you the right home for your circumstances, however our tenant services are not limited to finding you a suitable property. We can offer you guidance and advise on the lettings process so you are informed every step of the way. Your security deposit is registered with TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) so you are safe in the knowledge it is kept safe during your tenancy. It may be that you are looking for something specific or in a particular area that you just can’t seem to find. Don’t worry, we are updating our properties all the time and often know of properties that are due to come to the market soon that may just well fit your requirements. It’s always worth just giving us a call and leaving your details so we can stay in touch.

Unfortunately, my dealing with this outfit have not been good. I received an email offering a viewing yesterday or today. I chose today. They never appeared. I called and they stated the property had been let. They basically accused me of turning up without an appointment as they had not confirmed the viewing. In a service industry it is never a good thing to blame a client or prospective client. I fully understand that rental properties can move quickly in the current market. However, what is particularly disappointing is the lack of communication, consideration or care. In today’s market, customer experience and communication are central to an agency’s reputation and brand. Prospective tenants increasingly share both positive and negative experiences on social media and review platforms, and avoidable incidents such as this can have a lasting impact on how a business is perceived. I am not trying damage their reputation but hopefully they learn from this experience, rather than sending an automated email after I called them....stating the property has been let.

Booked a viewing for a property and the estate agent did not turn up. Called and rearranged the viewing for the next day, 2 hours later I am told the viewing is cancelled as the property is let agreed. I acknowledge the rental market in York is ridiculous, but to apologise and accept another booking just to cancel it is very frustrating.
